Peter: Walking in the Spirit

We are living in amazing times. The Holy Spirit is on the move. The fire of God’s love is being ignited in the hearts of those who are hungering and thirsting for righteousness. In these challenging times, may the cry of our hearts be, “Fill us, Holy Spirit! Teach us to walk in your ways. May we become a community of people who truly love each other.”

As we consider the stories of Peter and the early church community in Acts chapter 5, we catch a breathtaking glimpse of what it might be like to walk in the Spirit as a community of believers. The Spirit is calling to our hearts, wooing us to abide in Him as we walk in His ways.

Will we answer the call? Will we respond to the amazing invitation to participate in the greatest move of God that has ever swept our Planet? May our hearts cry YES! YES LORD! YES, we long to walk in the Spirit as Peter did.  Come, Holy Spirit! Come! We need you!
