A Beautiful Thing!
Some philosophers and deep thinkers can become absorbed with the question; “What came first, the chicken or the egg?” Even as children we can spend time reflecting on the notion and either say, “It does not matter!” or come up with a satisfactory conclusion. One that meets our need.
Then there is the mental exercise of determining… “It a tree fell in the forest and no one was there to hear it fall, would it still make a noise?”
Now make the leap with me. “What came first, God or Love?” 1 John 4:16 states, “God is Love.”
Continue now… If a person falls and no one is there to witness it; did he or she still fall? Matthew 6:4 declares that God seeth in secret.
Friends, God cares for each of us. His love is fundamental to who HE is. And who HE is, is ONE who knows all our secrets and LOVES us anyway.
What a beautiful thing to know that God LOVES us no matter what.
