In His home town Jesus announced His mission by reading from the scroll of Isaiah. Here He states that He is anointed to proclaim Good News to the poor and freedom to all the marginalized among us. We also have been called, anointed to take the Gospel or Good News to the least of these. The least of these could mean poor in mind, emotion, and spirit. We are to follow Jesus in meeting the needs of our family, friends, and others who need the love of God.
